Its One Thing To Be Bad At Faking

I just dont understand the stupidity of some people. Why anyone even think of spending their hard earned cash on something as expensive as a Mark Sanchez SPA without looking at it first is beyond me. Look at this auction, and you will see exactly why I condemn the people who sell, as well as those who dont think before bidding.

See the problem? Its the image from the fucking sell sheet. The guy has posted an auction with the intent of selling a scan from the sheet UD puts out to promote the set. Some may say he is showing this pic because he cant get his own on eBay, but he even says in the description that the lines are from his scanner.

Hopefully this gets pulled before someone gets screwed out of hundreds of dollars.

  1. Im sure paypal will cover the buyuer in a SNAD. The seller is setting themselves up for negative feedback

  3. I dunno. The image on the sell sheet is a 1/1 Logo Patch. It looks to be a real card to me, just a bad scanner.

  5. Gellman-

I must be missing something because I don't see how you draw the conclusion that this is taken from the sell sheet. Just like Anthony states:

    (1) The image on the sell sheet says 1/1 and is a logo, while this one is not a logo and is numbered 6/499.

Please fill us in on exactly how this is a scam? I need it explained (call me stupid!)

  6. 2nd- unless I am missing something the Sanchez from the sell sheet is in blue ink and this auction is with black ink.

  7. Look at the numbering on the card in the auction in question versus the number on the card for one that we know isnt real. Look at the thickness of the signature on the one in question, versus any other signature on any other card. Look at the patch quality, its copied from the sell sheet and doctored from another card. All the pieces of this card are taken from the sell sheet, I guess I wasnt clear that it isnt all from the sanchez.

  9. Maybe I'm just stupid, but after looking for everything you said, Gellman, I'm still not seeing it. Good thing i don't collect this kind of stuff, or I'd be in a shitload of trouble.

  10. Guys, this is the card I pulled 2 months ago. I was so excited that first it was Sanchez and then also his jersey number (006/499). It was also the card featured on the side of the SPA box and that where the scan came from (not the sell sheet), though that card was a mock up. I can tell you that patch on the real card is nothing like the scan he put up for auction.
