January Box Buster's- The 4 boxes of SP Authentic are due to arrive on Wednesday. I will be busting them late Wednesday night and so they should be posted very late Wednesday (past midnight central time I am guessing)
February Box Buster's- It is all full. The spots that were opened up because of not being reserved were filled quickly and so I will be doing the random team assignments tonight after the Super Bowl, and post them up on the blog. Should be up by midnight (central time). Trades will be opened up on that post. The trade deadline will be 5 p.m. central time on Wednesday. I will be busting the National Treasures on Wednesday night also and posting the videos right after the SP Authentic.
March Box Buster's- Here is the tentative box break for March (some of this depends on the flux of prices in the next month).
1 Box 2008 SP Authentic, 2 Boxes 2008 Leaf Limited, 2 Boxes 2008 Donruss Gridiron Gear
or
1 Box 2008 SP Authentic, 1 Box 2007 SP Authentic, 1 Box 2006 SP Authentic, and an old school 1 box 1999 SP Authentic
Let me know which interests you the most. I myself and leaning towards the multiple year SP Authentics because it allows for a variation of rookie cards and nice hits. All cards including commons would be mailed in both instances.

It's not a listed option but my vote goes for another SPA2008 break for March.

ReplyDeleteOption 1 or another spa 2008 break would be nice, prices might have dropped enough by then to add another box to the mix.
ReplyDeleteOkay. Biggest issue is that we can't do another 4 box break for the price of $400 because of the increase in prices (currently) right now it would be $345-$375 for 3 boxes. If prices drop we could do another 4. Just a heads up. I would try to find a 4th box to drop in with the 3 boxes if that is all we can do at that time.

ReplyDeleteI missed the boat this time, but how could I tell if there were spots open for this box break? I looked yesterday and this morning, but couldn't find out if spots were available or not.

ReplyDeleteStay tuned as we will have breaks probably running in between the monthly club also. Usually, on the 1st in the morning I will post the open spots, but this month when it fell on a Sunday it didn't work for me to post it until afternoon and it was already filled up by then because of fast moving people.

ReplyDeleteI am debating making exquisite a possible case break outside of the monthly box busters since it is going to be over the $400 per box rate.
It would probably run $47 per random team.
Also looking at the possibility of a NT case break or some others too....
Time will tell, but Exquisite will for sure be broken at some time.
I'd absolutely be down for an Exquisite case break, but I'd be sure to put that up well in advance of you actually planning on breaking it. Because of the price, I'd be willing to say that most people would only purchase a single slot. Some people who do the monthly club may not get a slot at all. It will certainly take a while longer to fill.
