Posted 2:57 PST. Just my thing, its like march madness brackets.
If you like Baseball Prospectus, check out http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/, the website for the same guy that devised a lot of the stats they use and also the PECOTA computer. He has put together election stuff for the site via a computer program. Its non-biased in terms of the fact that it is all based on numbers rather than party. I have been reading it for a while, I have a feeling his predictions will be as close as they are in the baseball world. As of final projections, 1.1% percent of the simulations run give a win to McCain, that is statistically crazy. I think he is right though.

I personally dream of a dead heat tie. And then Bush makes them compete in a "Billy Madison" type competition to determine the winner. Now that sir is poetic.

At no point during your rambling incoherant response did you come anywhere close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now more stupid for listening. I award you no points and may god have mercy on your soul.
ReplyDeleteHa! How much would you have paid to hear a moderator say that in the presidential debates? I'd give my entire personal collection of Mackey Sasser. Seriously, I would.

My predictions are similar to yours, but I'm picking Obama to win NC, IN, MO, MT, and ND. 381 electoral votes.
ReplyDeleteI did this for school, and we didn't come out with the same states.. But got the same number layout..

Your prediction is going to be pretty darn close. I had hoped Obama would win both NC abd VA, but it looks like he may win NC and McCain may take VA...we will know soon.
ReplyDeleteWow, I still have a chance to get this 100% correct. I wont, but I have a chance!
