First Look: 2009 Playoff Prestige and 2009 Donruss Elite Football




Im not going to say much about these sets because they are just the products to tide you over until Classics is released after the rookie premiere. The sets are pretty much exactly the same as they were last year, and it looks like they will still have the ridiculously high original price tag that will ultimately drop after the season starts.

Ill keep an eye out for more interesting fare and let you know when we get some stuff worth talking about.

    Maybe I'm just wierd, but I've always liked the Elite die cuts. Not enough to actually buy a box, but I'll pick up a few of my favorites after they hit ebay.

    I am with you. It's the only set all year that I don't mind the college jerseys. That being said, don't ever buy a box. I bought one once and couldn't have been crapped on more if I were at the beach covered in Saltines.

    i think prestige is a great product, and if you havent noticed...08's price actually INCREASED and some places cant even get it anymore. it has a good design and a lot of good themes, i love the league leaders prime materials, i collect that every year.
