People Who Vote On Football HOFers Are Just As Stupid As Their Baseball Counterparts

The 2009 Hall Of Fame Football Class has been announced, and for the second straight time, they forgot one person who should be in there, without even a thought. Cris Carter has over 1100 career receptions, 130 career TDs, and over 12,000 yards in his long career with Philly and of course, Minnesota.

Im not saying that the others werent worthy, but I cant understand why it takes WRs so fucking long to get in. Carter deserves to be there, no doubt about it, and I hope he doesnt turn into a Bert Blyleven situation.

  1. As a seattle fan since when I was a kid watching steve largent ( my favorite WR of all time)I know there are better Wide receivers but not in my book, but I'm a hawks fan! I was overly joyed to see him get inducted I thought for sure due to being in seattle for his career he would never get in. I have to agree WR'S get the shaft I wonder with all the great WR'S these last few years showing thier impact on the games and teams if this will change. I think some of it may be due to the fact that many wide recievers T.O. are notorious for being non team players and their antics on and off the feild. Grant

  2. Totally agree. I was glad to see Randall McDaniel get in but still. The delay seems ridiculous.

  3. The Hall of Fame voters for football are a bunch of senile old douchebags. If you didn't go to a Superbowl or play an 'important' position it's impossible to get in. Why the hell ain't Ray Guy in the Hall? Why the hell is Bullet Bob Hayes just NOW getting into the Hall? Carter is screwed, there's a 20 year backlog of wide receivers that the Hall has ignored.

Completely agree! How long did Art Monk have to wait, right?
