Aside from the fact that the numbering is higher this year, slightly, I really dig the design and the way these look. I really wish that more cards would use the full bleed white borderless design more often.
Per Gregg, SPA numbering is higher this year so that they could put more of them in each case. I believe there will be 8 per 12 box case, and I fully support that decision. SPA patch autos are the focus every year, and I love seeing more of them, without a doubt.

I don't think anything beats the SP Authentic Rookie Patch Auto cards...they are by far one of my favorite cards from the last few years.

ReplyDeleteIt is high, but I would rather know the actual number of cards out there than try to guess with all the parallels and variations (ala TTT).

ReplyDeleteI think the NT08 rookie patch on card autos /99 are nicer. I prefer SPA 07 over 08...
ReplyDeleteI looked through the other sets of SPA 08 and with those in consideration 08 is far better than 07 in my mind overall.
