Stopped by Sports Cards Plus here in San Antonio to pick up my pre-ordered box, and I must say that I got pretty lucky with the results of my break. Not the GREATEST players, but still pretty nice to pull a 1/1 or 1/4 depending on how you look at it.

I just got done breaking the boxes, luckily Noah was cooperative during the filming. Because I filmed in HD, the videos are going to take a very long while to upload to Youtube, but they should be up by the end of tonight.

We didnt have the best luck this time around, but that is the nature of the beast with Classics. We did pull one SP autograph and two patches, but the players on those cards leave a lot to be desired.

I wanted to try out a few boxes of Elite because it is the first pro uniform product of the year for the rookies, and I am very glad that I did. I am always a sucker for the first product like this, but usually end up always regret it, not this time! I pulled two autos of GREAT players, and one low numbered auto of an okay player. I also pulled some good rookies and a Patch. Its not like I pulled a passing the torch dual auto or anything, but it could have been A LOT worse. SCU Breaks: SPA Update

Just wanted to fill you all in on what has been going on. I have contacted Upper Deck and they are going to see what they can do for us. As soon as I have more info, ill let you all know. We should be getting something in replacement of the card. Not sure what it will be.

Secondly, Im going to have the cards out soon. I know its taken a few extra days, but with my wife being almost 8 months pregnant, sometimes things get a little behind. I have the cards sorted and just need to get them into the packages. That should happen today. My apologies for the late send out, and I can assure you that SPA will never be broken again on this site due to the amount of cards. Holy shit.

This will be a 5 box break, standard rules, one slot equals two random teams. 16 slots at 33 bucks a pop to cover paypal fees and shipping supplies/cost. 2009 Ultimate Collection Baseball 5 Box Break

Here is the break of all five boxes, to which I say that I honestly didnt think I would have enough time to do all five in one video. We got two pretty nice patches, but the players werent that great. Considering the awesome success we have had for all of our other breaks, this is where I say that you cant win em all.

Scans will be up tomorrow, cards will go out on Thursday. I would like to give you it all right now, but I have some baby classes to attend. My apologies. Please let me know if you do not want your base cards, otherwise I will just be sending them all.
