I'm not sure if this is a possibility... but maybe they release the cases in batches. The first batches contain the redemptions and if they receive the cards from the players... they insert them into later batches.
Fuji may be right there. Or it could be the opposite... maybe UD got part of autos back, put them in the first run of batches, then released the boxes! Now UD is waiting to get back the other cards to fulfill the redemptions. Also, maybe the players are waiting to get paid by UD to send the rest of their autos back!

Maybe he caused the delay. He signed a few and UD has been waiting and waiting on him... Finally they had to release.
ReplyDeleteit's always been like that. I've seen box breaks of 2007 SPA where Chris Johnson auto patch was a redemption, but I pulled mine out of a pack....

ReplyDeleteThe same thing happened last year with The Cup. Steve Mason had some live and some were redemptions.
