Gotcha. That does suck. Good luck with the protest.dayfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09343838411856677615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3022654356144175309.post-67127553373111131202008-08-29T11:02:00.000-07:002008-08-29T11:02:00.000-07:00False advertising is what happened, and it happens...False advertising is what happened, and it happens all the time on eBay. Thats why I usually scour the auction for shadiness before bidding. However, I didnt even know that box above the auction description meant anything for stuff other than video games. Now I will be checking for crap in that box every time.Gellmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07819780003574759214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3022654356144175309.post-53612881129176185982008-08-29T10:38:00.001-07:002008-08-29T10:38:00.001-07:00As for the post, I'd be pissed too. I'm still the highest bidder with my super low bid, at less than a day. If I win, and it turns out to be true, then hell yes. But I doubt that will happen. Needless to say, a starting bid for a box of SPX at 9 dollars was fine. 4 days later and it's still the highest bid....I'm getting curious. This has nothing to do with my hatred for the grading process, its the fact that he made no mention of the grade, and only notified the potential buyers by that box.

Trust me, after posting cropped pictures, listing in the wrong category, and not explicitly saying the card was a graded 8, he wont win.Gellmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07819780003574759214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3022654356144175309.post-55615523179751338722008-08-29T10:33:00.000-07:002008-08-29T10:33:00.000-07:00I'm not entirely sure I understand the problem... ...I'm not entirely sure I understand the problem... It's the same card you wanted, just in the Beckett case? Or did he switch the card on you? If it's the right card just in a Beckett case, just crack it out. I think David at Indian Cards has posted a tutorial for getting cards out of cases. It's a pain in the ass, but if he checked the graded box, I think covers his ass even with the shady scans. dayfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09343838411856677615noreply@blogger.com
